When I was a kid, we had a chihuahua. We couldn't find her one day. We went all over the house calling out to her and she didn't come out. We thought she must have gotten out, so we went outside looking for her. When my mother came home, she jumped out from under a pile of jackets on the armchair 😆
so we just had one of the cats get out.
What must have happened is that he went right back in but we somehow missed that.
15 minutes of frantic searching later, we're all outside and notice him in a windowsill looking curiously at us.
