As of this morning, Starbucks workers across the country are officially ON STRIKE. And we're prepared for this to become the biggest and longest ULP strike in Starbucks history.

Say #NoContractNoCoffee with us: DON'T BUY STARBUCKS for the duration of our open-ended ULP strike! $SBUX

Worst of all, Gildan has a history of working with sweatshops. A lot of MAGA merch nowadays will say it's "designed and printed in the USA," but if you dig a little deeper, the blanks are often from Gildan, typically produced in Bangladesh or Latin America.

I am calling upon the people of Ireland to immediately begin construction of a thread on this site about how you or someone you know was roasted for a fashion choice. We need it.

All roasts must have come from Irish people *only*. Please respect this important rule, it makes a difference.

In the US, law enforcement isn't just legally allowed to lie to you, they're ENCOURAGED to. OTOH, your lawyer is legally prohibited from lying to you and can lose her license for it.

Which of those professions, though, do you reflexively associate more with lying?

You're not immune to copaganda.

imagine if Bernie Sanders had started a third party after Trump's win in 2016... That was honestly the moment to do it - 9 years later it would definitely be competitive. I don't know why US leftist influencers - who describe themselves as socialists - always just support the Dems

If Wall Street threatens Mamdani-style reforms with a capital strike, organized labor can fight back—history shows how banks killed NYC’s progressive plans in 1975, so unions must prepare to counter similar opposition now.

Let’s study how Wall Street sank Mamdani-style municipal plans back in 1975 — and get prepared for a similar fight.

This. All day. Everyday. We are all human. We can do this and we can do better.
The thing about Mamdani is that he’s a talented politician but not otherworldly or one in a billion, he’s just a competent guy with popular ideas who ran against an entitled piece of shit and to me it’s a lot more optimistic to imagine 1000 campaigns like his than to view him as a unique phenomenon

Like, this actually happened last week — in an unsigned order.

The Democratic appointees, led by Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, dissented. The ruling, which applies during litigation, effectively reverses two lower court rulings.
