Because Labour and the Tories conflated all types of immigration with illegal immigration, exactly what Farage and his Nazi mates wanted. Gone is all discussion about the benefits migrants bring to the work force, now they're framed as taking away something from the British people.

Exactly. There were debates about this being the best squad Liverpool have ever assembled. The team looks undercooked in its preparation, like 11 players who just met.

Can't think of a single LFC team that has looked this disjointed at both ends (add in a midfield that might as well not be there) and managed to fix it mid-season. Usually it takes fresh ideas and some new faces to get it right again.

He's been affected as much as the players by what happened in the summer. He might need a break from football so he can rediscover his touch again.

Maybe not right away but they should start identifying his replacement for the summer. A season without Europe is staring us in the face and we'll have to adjust our budget to match. I don't think Slot became a bad manager but he's not on his game. He might need a break from football.

Either they've stopped listening to Slot or he isn't preparing them correctly. Completely understandable given what happened but it's easier to replace the manager than change 20 players.

This is something I'd expect in the UK or USA. I'd be mortified if I saw any tourists being turned away from a business because they weren't locals, lunch time or not. The company would never see my money again.

How many LFC managers have successfully turned around the team after being so bad for so long? Arguably in my lifetime only Klopp has done so (twice) but even he was so exhausted by the process he ended up needing to leave anyway.
