The Labour Party is a horror now. It has become what it used to fight.

Absolute was a bit strong. There were a couple of good things in that budget. Still funded by Israel, private healthcare etc. etc. though. I think history will say that many of the small calls they made were good, but the big ones were terrible.

Zack's position is now solid. If anyone actually causes a problem from now on he can deal with it. Getting a compromised GP into a strong position in a hung parliament is much better than risking Reform getting in. Easy for me to say because I am not affected. Solidarity, but hold off for a bit?

To be fair Labour are an absolute disaster.

I have always been deeply suspicious of electoral pacts where people stand down in favour of other parties. I have to say this very measured discussion has brought me round significantly. I have reservations still, but with FPTP forced on us, we do have to use it in our favour to our best ability.
