This chart from the study which shows Alaska as a relatively minor player after 2011 and neck and neck with Texas before that, would probably surprise most Alaskans. [At least those who can read charts]

This is positive. But context matters. Special elections generally have low turnout. This shows just over 7000 votes. In 2022 almost 14000 votes. Will GOP stay home in 2024 again?
