Australia might be the only entrants by then.

‘Crossovers’ are everywhere. And they look like small SUVs most of the time.

I’m tempted by a Corolla next - keen on Toyota quality, put off Lexus luxury by their enormous size, but unwilling to go full electric yet, due to poor parking at home.

Estates seem rarer now though, with that dreaded ‘crossover’ sector encroaching on old saloon/estate/hatchback turf.

Thank you very much.👍

Not an original question, but is there a decent paper or article anywhere, detailing what the proposed parking/transit arrangements will be? I grew up in South Hobart in the 1980s and if you missed the last bus from Franklin Sq at 6:15pm, that was pretty much it.

Have always liked that typeface used for 'Radio Training'

What will it change though? Apart from the occasional political one-liner about ‘getting a poor deal’, no-one near power wants to talk about Brexit, preferring to just keep the corner tidy where the elephant sits.

Surely Mr Gove will be along to declare “we’ve had enough of experts”.

I suspect the BBC is lots of different things to different people and because it’s difficult to grasp it as a whole, it might be even more difficult to grasp what it would be to lose.

I greatly enjoyed my time there (some years ago now).

Not dis-similar for me: visited the UK for a year and spent a summer in the inner Hebrides in the late 90s. Moved back to Aus, started a career but always felt a pull back to the UK. Now here for twenty years.

Is there concrete evidence of this?

Yes, I remember reading this when it came out. Some excellent points as ever from Rusbridger, but the 'clumsy error' comment jars a bit.

Very sharp paragraph.

During the pandemic, I had a Zoom chat with a colleague, desk-bound in his lovely post studio. I asked what mic he was using as his voice on the call sounded great.
“Just the mic in my MacBook”
