As my adulthood came, this movie never left me. It's like a time capsule--still there. The emotions can grab me like they were yesterday. As for my life...one day, I was "cool" but it sucked. Then I found my now wife and we had kids. That, my friends... is cool.
This movie is a 10000/10 forever. ❤️

I developed a confidence and belief in what I did as a guitarist and singer. I did a few cool things, played some great shows I'll never forget, but then I ran into the band side of it--egos and differing aspirations. I just wanted to play music. I didn't need the spotlight much.

At 18 I was an innocent kid as a theatre major and aspiring singer/guitarist and I entered a world with fully-fledged, jaded adults. I wasn't ready. I felt like William, in a way. Fast forward a few years I was in Nashville, still dumb and now alone.
