After about 9,500 km by land (ca. 8,700) and sea (ca. 800), I’m back in Tampere – the final stop of my Railway Aesthetics conference journey. Counting all 262 hours on the way (including the hotel nights in Bucharest), my average speed was a glorious 36 km/h.
