My name is Dean Rehberger & I teach & do digital history at MSU. I have always been a pseudo/artificial historian (cultural studies) & I dabble in AI but the views and ideas posted here are my own.
I use it for my digital history course. Works very well for most but does require question and answer sessions. You learn a good deal about how antiquated our metaphors are for publishing.

Terminating grants is simply cruelty and pain. Grants from NEH are awarded by Congress and should not be terminated by a group not empowered by Congress.

(often non-profits, always on the edge of solvency because doing good work is placed above profit) are passed by because a grant was awarded, and one believed if you did good work, it would continue until completed.

It is hiring people, putting in place equipment, and establishing processes that often take years.
Terminating the process mid-grant often destroys the whole project's work. People lose their jobs. Other funding opportunities for organizations
