My grandfather hunted Nazi submarines on the North Atlantic, starting out on an armed yacht, the tiniest warship I’d ever heard of. His health was destroyed and he died not long after the war. I will not dishonour his memory by holding hands with fascists now.

If you get the poutine at IKEA (not the worst I’ve ever had) with Swedish meatballs, they stick a little Swedish flag in it which feels like cultural appropriation to me.
