The right wingers keep describing insurance when they’re talking about how great it would be without insurance.

Guess it’s good that people with brains that smooth have each other to pal around with.
Rand Paul on his healthcare plan: "What if you could join Costco? Costco has 44m members and if one person negotiated for all 44 and they bought a group plan like Toyota or General Motors does, they would be the largest collective entity in the country. They would drive prices down by sheer might."

Last month, Denny's was bought out by private equity in a $620 million deal.

Now the company is closing 150 locations.

It's the latest chain to be swallowed by private equity and see numerous workers lose their jobs.

This entire grift relies on convincing people that they don't know how to do the things they have always known how to do, and ironically, if it works, we will, in a very short amount of time, forget how to do all the things we have always known how to do.

The DOJ arrested Americans for smuggling H200 chips because they “determine military AI superiority”… and then, on the same day, legalized H200 exports to China for a 25% cut.

This is self-inflicted strategic disarmament for cash.

I had a minor flu for two days when I got the shingles vax. I had two different coworkers who got shingles out of work for a month each with what they described as debilitating pain.

Even if there wasn't evidence linking it to reduction of late age dementia, I decided it was totally worth.
Look, the shingles vax does kinda suck.

You know what is like 10,000 times worse? Shingles.
All over my FB people talking about their bad experiences with shingles vax and dissuading each other from getting it! We need to give people real info on how to mitigate the symtoms caused by vaccines because vaccines are always better than meeting a virus unprepared. Yet drs aren't coaching ppl

--They spend a full 10 pages of the 32-page bill obsessing over people's genitalia.

I'm serious: They spend a TON of time talking about everything from castration & sterilization to clitoroplasties, metoidioplasties and vulvoplasties.

They have a real hard-on for this stuff (so to speak).

I'm re-watching Magnum P.I. and I can't believe how vastly superior the 1980s ideal of masculinity is, vs today's whining, lying misogynist edgelord ideal that we see in culture all the way up to the Presidency.
The 50's stereotypical man had at least some other things to offer. Typically noble or stoic. Perhaps serving the greater good. Instead it's now a bunch of energy drink selfish neurotics who spend too much time at the gym and have no developed personality at all but being online.

The Trump administration is literally the nanny state that conservatives spent decades complaining about. They want to tell you what you should wear on a flight, how many cookies you should eat, who you can watch on late night TV, etc. No Democrat has ever been this much of a busybody fussbudget.
NEW: Dr. Oz is quite literally telling his federal employees to eat less.

“You don't have to try every cookie on the holiday table,” wrote Mehmet Oz in an email to all Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services employees.
