A Green Cow
@agreencow.bsky.social
Narrm based, local nothing, who dips hand at a few things, and shares infrequently. As Ringo says, Peace and Love.
She/Her, and I’m all good with they/them being used too. Just never “guys” I switch off at that one.
Added a sticker to my van. Some may think it’s for the Melbourne & Metropolitan Tramway Board, but personally I think it Makes My Teardrop Better. 🤣🤣🤣

Looks like the Poms are getting a mulligan for their first innings. That’s just not cricket!

Brains Trust: Does anyone recognise what this sticker is for? Thanks.

Not that I ever want England to win, but there is a set of three vertical, and two horizontal pieces of wood, aim for those. And here’s a tip, they are not located over that Batter’s head.

With that single Australia claims first innings points, that will certainly come in handy for when the finals are here. #Ashes

Come on Green! A kid playing Kanga Cricket for the first time could have seen that ball was going to be a yorker. #Ashes

All set up, and the cricket is on. It’s a hard life.

Sure thing mate. Turn up before 6am to loudly unload your truck, all while talking at full volume on your phone. Don’t worry about keeping noise to a respectable level, don’t worry about blocking my driveway and unloading onto my lawn for the place next door. Don’t worry about the rubbish you leave.

Most of the upgrades done, only one that isn’t needed for my first trip left, but no time to do it. Shakedown drive done, a couple of plastic plates moved, so that’s a win. More photos to come when I arrive at my destination and get everything set up in a few days.

A bit of work after work on the Teardrop this week. Awning fitted, electrics upgraded, second safety chain fitted, water pump and tank installed, bedding sorted. Almost ready to head away next weekend on a trial run.

Post your favourite “Lord of the Rings” character. Wrong answers only.

Forgot the work Christmas party is on today. It’s also combined with an old workplace of mine, where a lot of people would rather I am dead for exisiting. So I figure it’s best to be loud and proud and make them squirm.

Stuck in a standby room at work with bunch of men loudly carrying on about fishing. It’s like being stuck in a room of hyenas and galahs carrying on like a Price Is Right crowd on Speed.

The Boxing Day Test must be getting close. Just spotted the first Box blooming in the wild.

It’s a few minutes to 7pm, I need to wake up at 2am to go to work, having been up since 3am today. But the building site across the road just started their cement pour, with three 6sqm trucks on site, and a pump crane.
Got to love a local council that allows this kind of crap to happen until 8pm. 🤬

Stonefield. I wish they would make music again. 😥

Also full disclosure, only put it on for the photo. Been working on my caravan all day, and I didn’t want to ruin a good band shirt doing that. #AusMusicTShirtDay

I’m fitting an awning to my teardrop. Measured twice, and an extra measure to be sure. Checked where all wiring was going that I could trace, marked my spots and drilled…, right through the middle of the 12V running at a 45° angle.
Excuse me, I need to go buy a lotto ticket now.

Listening to the Figjam from my work class a few years ago, the one who according to himself was the best (he failed multiple exams and was last to qualify) complain that he has to work according to the EBA, and not do what he wants to do.
I bet he only has a job still due to “Good Bloke” status.

Listening to a couple of work colleagues talk about their new electric cars from a certain nutjob. It’s like two old people trying to outdo each other with what ailments they have, talking about all the issues with the cars. Haven’t heard either say a good thing about the cars in the last 15mins.

I think if England bat first in the Brisbane Test, Australia should just get Travis Head to walk into their dressing room at the innings break and say “Yeah nah, you lot can bat again, I want to make it a fair fight this time.”

Now that @eflind.bsky.social is in England, is she fair game to stir about how bad the Poms are at cricket? Asking for a friend. 😁😁😁

With that result England take a 1-0 lead in this series for moral victories.
They now head to Brisbane where they look to keep their moral victory success since 1877 at 100%. #Ashes

Beating England in a Test in just two days, is almost as good as beating Carlton by a point after the siren.
November 22, 2025 at 9:49 AM
I reckon at this point Australia should just put up the shutters and finish it off on day three. No point rushing this last run. #Ashes #AUSvENG
November 22, 2025 at 9:40 AM
You can actually pinpoint the moment England realised that the Test series would be a 5-0 loss, and Baz Ball is dead. #Ashes #AUSvENG
