British liberal. Apparently technically a "Bluesky Elder", according to that one labeller.

Also: here be sportsposting.

She/Her
(... she also didn't dispute the "and threw her to the ground" bit when, uh, aiui RLJ's defence is that she tripped and fell and Cain winding up on the ground was all an accident and misunderstanding?)

(If West Ham don't beat Liverpool they'll be behind Leicester, and if Liverpool don't at least draw to West Ham they'll also be behind Leicester, regardless of if they beat Aston Villa. Also this assumes both no points from LCL at home, and Everton getting something from Chelsea and/or Arsenal)

(Tbh, I think the online discourse may have shown the event to be an unusual one in a footballing context, so, if the Regulatory Commission did buy the "tripped" line, it's possible RLJ is technically correct there. We'll see in the written reasons when they're published I guess.)

Thank you for your service.
And, yeah, that's a combo of the line that her defenders on Reddit were using (the "she clearly tripped" one - she did not; there's a gap between her firmly planted foot that's the pivot point and McLoughlin) and her Twitter ones.

(okay, so I guess it's "the Civil Service is full of radical pro-trans activists and it would reflect this 'truth'" but when people say "if you made x today this character would be y" it's generally not said in that way)

... ... ... I am fascinated as to what she thinks the point of "Yes, Minister" even was?

Hey, be fair: the timeslot (singular, for 4-6 games a week, of the 6 total) also clashes with basically all womens' grassroots football.

.... is it even normally a big show?

[for clarity: they did catch the stray lower-case i pretty quick, and also there are a lot of upvotes for it because wait I thought the actual draw bit started like half an hour ago? With a gag 'rigged' draw for the hosts for some reason?]

(granted, I went to Manchester at a point where the path on one side of the road near where I was staying was blocked for some works or another, and the other side had an active building site on it, but even on the other side of the city I had issues)

See, "oppressive and difficult to navigate" was my experience of Manchester when I went - I didn't really experience it as much in Birmingham (like, I didn't go there super often when I was at uni, but I don't recall ever getting lost like I did in Manchester).

... y'know, it kind of makes sense that the US doesn't have that type of sausage roll, but also wow this was still a surprise to read.
(...god, now I fancy a Gregg's vegan 'sausage' roll)

(Like, Blanchard getting the only yellow card there is wild - Cain and Tierney probably should've got yellows too (and Palace #15. And Blanchard maybe two yellows at once?) - but my god the attempts at defence are embarrassing)

What, no, clearly Olivia McLoughlin (the Leicester player already on the floor) deliberately tripped her up somehow, with her back and/or head.[/s]
(Also, RLJ was just protecting a teammate(???), and shoving is far more rare and serious than wrestling takedowns, which happen all the time)
