So good - the intro gives a through line by picking up the melody from the first song on the album, 'Frank and Jesse James', and the chutzpah/genius of "I was listening to the air conditioner him / It went mmm mmm mmm" is just *chef's kiss

This is of course part of the same set of issues: a pervasive anti-intellectualism, and a total lack of advocacy for, strategy for, and investment in public services.
