First #fencing comp for a very long time. Woke up slow, got better, and then ended 6th.

Silly mistakes but a happy enough day.

Beautiful day in the park before the weather blew in.

The DOMS is real.

The 21km of running this week is probably a record for me, plus the fencing session too!

First time I've run 10km - definitely feeling easier to get up and go, and the 10km easy pace is the same pace as my first full has 5km was earlier this year.

Who knew that training makes it better?

I'm keeping up with the running in this current fitness kick.

Currently 1st down since I started; completed C25km in a sensible amount of time, and done a couple of Parkruns.

Decided to try and get a bit quicker than a plod with Runna.

Finale of the C25Km today with a warm #Parkrun Felixstowe. 3mins faster than my training 5km. #runsky

Easy run today before the end of C25Km this weekend.

C25KM run 29 done (end of week 10).

Followed every session from my Garmin and I have already run a few 5k sessions. The consistency has been the good thing for me, forcing myself up and out 3 times a week and feeling much better for it.

If the person who ordered the lightning storm would kindly own up and help read some emergency bedtime stories, that'd be swell.

Going through my attic and found my copy of the cheese and onion (Ohcm) signed by Alan Fletcher aka Dr Karl Kennedy from that neighbours programme.

Apparently it's what med students did back in 2008.

The C25Km continues with week 7 now over and the successful long run of 6.1km.

I'm not sure I expected to get to this before the end of three months. Losing half a stone has helped too!

Might end up doing parkrun soon!

Seeing the air ambulance up close brings a lot of memories back for me.

I hope the person they flew for is doing okay!

Friday evening Couch to 5km run - down to see Digby at the waterfront.

Slow and steady - garmin unbelievably giving me a +9 at the start of the run.

As the strains of the opening bars of Mrs Widgery's Lodger played out, preceded by the chords mandated to warn all of potential Morrisment being committed in the local area, GNU Terry.

Yesterday's #StarCitizen emergent gameplay: random soft death on final approach around Bloom.

Helped out by org FRCN rescue team.

Fun, if somewhat frustrating, game loop :)

An evening on EPTU yesterday with #StarCitizen and the 4.0 build.

Impressively not completely broken, and possibly a base for a LIVE candidate.

This evening in #StarCitizen EPTU.

A quintessential SC session - some stuff worked, some stuff didn't, some bugs from way back when have returned!

For the first time in a while I've finished reading a fiction book on my kobo.

I enjoyed it too - nice little scene setter of a fantasy story. Felt a bit like the first episode of a TV series, in all honesty - world building was much more up front than the immediate story!

Interested to see where CIG takes #starcitizen on the journey to an eventual 1.0 release in the future.

The Game-ification of the project is to me the most important bit of the whole fantastical thing!

Ok, what's all this about then?
