And like no disrespect to him at all, I'm sure he enjoyed working on that game, and I get why theres players who'd like a game structured the way 16 is, but from my experience playing some of ff14, the pacing when it comes to quests and the story can kind of drag on.

In 16's case, as good as having a mature story with characters saying fuck & shit every 20 mins sounds on paper, it's very poorly executed. Then I come to find out Yoshi P. directed it, so of course the pacing would be like that. I also wish there were just more things to do in that world.
