Transferred to Affinity for design and Krita for art. Professionally. There's Penpot too for Figma alternative. They're all up to par now for professional use. There's really no downside anymore to leave them behind, except the name. People might look down on you for not using Adobe and Apple.

I'll wait for the patch. I've never finished it. C3 is a beast!

For personal collections of references and images, download the images from wherever you want, organize in folders if possible and use Pure Ref to make organized visual boards.

My workflow duration drops by at least a third if I have a solid foundation. And the finished piece improves a LOT!

This triggered so much nostalgia in me. Tracing paper was such an important part of my drawing journey when I was a kid.

I feel it's connected to a sadistic pleasure to know artists have suffered and we get to enjoy the fruits of their labor.
Even the biggest artists in history died poor. I suppose they're not really waiting for us to die anymore.
But we'll find a way. Keep creating, for yourself and for us.
