With elimination of the federal ITC being debated in Congress, this is a challenging time to cut state level incentives for distributed solar/batteries. If we want distributed energy solutions to support future load growth, states have a key role to play.

I loved Wicked… and can see Defying Gravity as a potential theme song for climate and social activists. The messages on friendship and diversity are also timely. I plan to watch it again!

Chaz— I really appreciate all efforts to expand the ranks of people working towards decarb and I know this effort drew in more supporters. But let’s be real.. climate tech is still way too bro dominated— Can the enlightened bros think of a more inclusive strategy? You’re going to need more voices.

Hmm.. we just suffered thru an election with lots of misogyny… can we be open to welcoming women’s voices in energy — there are so many critical voices to engage. Language matters.
