I think Republicans are masters of pageantry. They are the Michelangelos of making specific people, particularly ego based groups, feel important without materially making their lives better.

I think the next Democratic nominee should be FDR like. Someone with giant economic vision. Americans in general crave deep reform. I don’t see anyone, yet, who has that vision and imagination.
