What we really need is some set of standard user protection features for social platforms
- Community Notes & Moderation
- trust worthiness of sources
- gen ai labeling & filtering
- some sort of personalized algorithm control/transparency
- personal ad control
- individual user credibility rating

The only way i see this problem being solved is people making 3rd party clients/social media platforms with those features baked into them

This would be awesome to have. Although, i'm skeptical it'll be adopted in the places that need it most.
