Senator, this has been going on non-stop since Nixon signed the 1972 Shanghai Communiqué. In the late 1980's my employer, Gerhart Industries was deeply involved in Chinese oil exploration. They got whatever technology they wanted with government approval. Gearhart lost its shirt and its shingles.

This is nothing new and began in earnest with the Nixon's signature on the 1972 Shanghai Communiqué. In the late 1980's all manner of equipment even when listed on unapproved technologies lists was flowing like water. Specific approvals for back channel shipments were open doors. Nonstop since 1972.

Living in a red state where most officials are little more than wild-eyed useful idiots whose lungs are filled with patriotic noises actively destroying our nation and the world, I know it's a slim to zero chance of any of them doing the right thing. Yet, our silence will guarantee they do nothing.
