I went out for a bike ride today and stopped for a coffee. After leaving the shop, while unfolding my bike to continue riding, the wind picked up and suddenly the air was full of snow for a couple of minutes, enough to cover my wool outer layer. It was so nice and refreshing that I paused, looked up into the sky, and grinned. An older fellow walking by looked me dead in the eye and, with no malice and a cheery twinkle in his eye, said "hey, fuck you buddy". It's good to be home. 😁
