Came here to say this. It works great, there's no odor, and it's much better for the washing machine and the environment. If you like fragrant clothes, you can use wool dryer balls with essential oils on them.

I befriended a crow pair several years ago and they still come around. They like all sorts of foods and I will put leftovers out for them, but what first hooked them was cheap hot dogs and Cheetos.
