Shot in the dark, but... anyone ever have Cryostasis crash on launch? It does not spit out an error about physX... just straight crashes on launch. No clue as to why. Anyone?

I was THIS close to buying the PC version of Alan Wake 2 on Epic Games Store. I'm glad Tim Sweeney swooped in and reminded me to keep not buying games from them.

It's so fucked up that Copilot, in Paint, can't generate Paint art. It can't replicate it's own unique style that still lives on the internet.

If the Steam Machine is really expensive, I don't see what Valve's plans are for it. It won't really expand to the living room if it's beyond the economic realities of customers and if it's really high priced, likely customers can just buy or build something else and just install Linux on it.

I know he did so much more than just Red Alert, but his role as Yuri was a gigantic part of my childhood.

JESUS I just checked the local RAM prices and the sticks I bought early summer has gone up from $242 (with taxes) to a whopping $610. They weren't kidding about the price hikes.

Finished The Mercy of Gods, the first book in a new series from the authors of the Expanse books. It is a fascinating setup for the following works, it's just a lot of setup. I'm really curious about the sequel coming next year, as all the pieces for this "war" are in place.
