I do agree there. I think the reasons are a mix between the corporate backed candidates having the money and resources/ lack of voters showing out for primary voting. I do think that there has been some shift in certain areas though as seen with Mamdani.

And this is why @gavinnewsom.bsky.social will not win a primary for the presidency. We are tired of every day Americans suffering so billionaires can get richer. We want a party that represents us, not corporations.

My hope is that this is the end of all of their political careers and we will be able to now work on turning voters out is masses for primaries so we can elect effective leaders.
