I feel like that can be applied to so many professions now. No one is ever just one trade or craft you also have to be your own PR, know video editing, know how to market yourself, and must sell yourself out in hopes to being noticed.

True I can more so get away of that since I live in a big city that always need artist. But yea the only way I go past that point is if things go nuclear around here.

Honesty I'm at the point I'm considering just abandoning social media and just have a site just for portfolio stuff & that's it. Too much stress over a ever srinking audience of actual people not bots or content scrapers. Doesn't help it feels like social media always attract the biggest weridos.

Because I can tell you right now. One is you aren't even practicing what you preach. Two you have understanding & reading comprehension of a fly if your main take away from both my & OP's posts is actually put your head down & do nothing.

Where the heck did I said keep your head down, where the heck did I said that changing tacics is wrong and how is anknowledging that change takes time mean to not try anything else. Not to mention the hell are you doing besides doom posting online and shitting on people.

It's a basic message to never give even if things seem unchanging that's it. OP was pointing that out too. And once again where the heck do you see me be against a change of tactics all I said is to never give up that's the basic message. Please read my posts again.

Who says anything about tactics here ? I just mention that it's a marathon not quick race that's it. You the one who came in and be like " well actually that's not true" can you not put words into my mouth.

Not to mention people's scale of things changing are pretty bad in the first place. As in like expect things to just happen in a timely manner and the problem is forever solved.

Except that's not even remotely true considering that OP has pointed to an example of that. It's pretty easy to see that when you don't have a larger context of history. The current state of things isn't forever.
