I have three resin artworks available right now! I ✨LOVE✨ making these. These are repurposed frames, custom painted, with recycled art prints and hand painted embellishments, under a layer of resin with foils and holographic powders. Huge labor of love and my favorite evolution of my resin art yet!

It’s not unusual for me to see people sharing AI images to dunk on them.
For every AI image you share, even for the sake of outrage, you could have been sharing real art from a real artist.

Its so demeaning to the life of work they put into their art, and it must suck to have to argue that your work is in fact your own.

this is really annoying man my tablet was purchased new in 2019. I spent 2000 dollars on It and it works perfectly fine. Why should anyone buy an expensive tech product that's going to brick in 6 years

I do agree, but at the same time this and a lot of other statements irk me a bit becuase they only focus on the creative field but really this applies to everywhere. I'm hard pressed to think of a profession that can fully support a even a single person now.
Many full time creatives have “invisible safety nets” like bread-winning partners, trust funds, external support, etc. No shame on anyone, but it creates a false vision of success. The cost of going to cons alone on top of hoping to eat as a freelancer are untenable, IMO.
When people hear that I'm returning to part time work they often ask "are things not going well with your art?"
The problem really is things are going well, but the world is so unstable that I long for some consistency and income that I don't have to pay quarterly taxes on

This is sadly true, to maintain being a full time artist, I work my ass off. I will say it’s not impossible. Most artists do come from parents backed financially/ sent to art school. I’m however, a full time artist and pay my bills, and I’m an orphan. You just have to work past breaking points…
