Denver Housing Construction Benefits Low-Income Renters
Denver’s recent experience shows that when we build more housing, rents fall – and they fall the most for households that need the greatest relief.

There are times where a rideshare option can be best (am looking forward to Waymo) but every city, especially a major city should have a strong public transit option where every bus or train runs at least every 15 minutes.

Happy Thanksgivinghope you get to spend it with your loved ones. There this thought that shouldn't talk politics at dinner, ruins things. It shouldn't and families should be able to talk. I got a lot of GOP family members and yeah convos can get heated but we still talk. End of the day still family.

Great first Hindu-Arabic numbers now Zohran will introduce Al-Gebra in schools when will it end???????

I really do beleive the rift between the left, mainstream Dems, and centrists is not nearly as big as made out to be. Im sure for large majority we agree far more than disagree and its been shown good to be united going into the next election. Now is there room for improvement from status quo? Yes

We are open to all...if you can afford to live here
Those cottages in particular lead to my first local "we believe... / but no to the housing!" sign pairing sighting!

He is another AOC knows how to be serious and work from inside.
The real ideological difference here is that Zohran Mamdani and Kshama Sawant represent two different factions of leftism- serious and not serious
November 23, 2025 at 1:12 AM
I think when people like Zohran talk about Democratic Socialism it the same when I talk about regulated capitalism it a mixed system like have in Europe.

also, “politics is bottom/top not left/right” might work as a slogan but is shit as analysis. who is the bottom? who is the top? who constitutes an “elite” and who belongs to “the people?” these are important questions that have to be answered.

Voting against the harms of socialism? What is this the 80s????

I dont think we should fail to look at the role race plays in the US not having universal health care, not the only factor but a big one. With our diversity lot of people dont want poc to have it and the countries that did implemented it were a lot smaller and homogenous especially when implemented
The way that every other place in the modern world does it.

Somehow the entire modern world can build trains, provide universal healthcare, fund education, etc., except in America where we have to spend Billions of taxpayer money overseas or to corporations.
Wait but how would we get to universal healthcare in CO alone?

Im curious to hear what people will say if Dems win big in 26 and 28. Is it a guarantee far from it but will be curious to see how the left and other react.
When future historians look back, they won’t call Republicans strategic masterminds. They’ll say Democrats were so incompetent and so corrupt that they kept losing to the craziest people in America rather than give up their grift and actually fight for the working class.
