💙📚 COMING JAN 2026: THE GRAPPLES OF WRATH! The owner of a pro-wrestling gym died, and his ghost is convinced he was moidered. Can Weirdo medium Claire and her dead best friend solve it? What is kayfabe? Do personal issues really draw money? Pre-order to find out: www.waterstones.com/book/the-gra...
Matt Gaetz is a real classic of the “In a just world, the name would mean as much to me as Nordic runes” genre. Instead he’s internationally known and like a comic book villain from one of those issues where they ran out of ideas that week and Batman is fighting some dude just called “The Pervert”

I bought some nice bed linen in a Black Friday sale and have learned it is an investment that's really worth making if you can

I increasingly think that the right’s rhetorical use of “rape” as an ultimate wrong that can be attributed to, say, racial others is not a hypocritical contradiction of their embrace of rape in practice, but in fact core to it: they degrade victims further by appropriating & mocking their suffering.
i think this is true to some extent but it's easy to underestimate the extent to which society does not really care about women or children despite many ostentatious declarations to the contrary
Yes there's a lot of denial, but I've seen it: when it snaps, it snaps hard.

"Powerful men covered up child sex abuse" isn't outlandish when you've seen that happen in church, boy scouts, school athletics, and every other social pillar of your conservative middle-class life in the past few decades.

I think basically every CEO could be replaced with an early 2000s chatbot and have never seen any evidence to the contrary

So many talented and wonderful people were let down by Future Class.

Younès in particular will always have my support, respect and love for standing by their principals and organising others to do the same.
Just want you to know that when I asked Geoff why he gave the silent treatment to an open letter written by his own "future of games" program (& co-signed by 3000+ industry peers), he replied:

"Because that's my show and nobody gets to tell me how I should use my platform". 💀💀💀

I went to meet the 'Rockstar 31', the developers who were suddenly fired from their work on GTA 6 for what the studio has described as gross misconduct.

That's not what the workers call it though. They have another couple of words they prefer to use: union busting.

Joining many people applauding this review (and Rick Lane, the reviewer) for arguing a difficult point very well.
For Arc Raiders to ride the wave of human sociability all the way to the bank, while also being so contemptuous of the thing that makes us social animals in its own workflow demonstrates a lack of artistic integrity that I find impossible to ignore.

Progressive thought has been totally expunged from the British political mainstream, and *still* the argument is that there’s an unacceptable institutional bias to the left within the news media.

It is *utterly* mad. Very clear for all to see what’s happening here.
