Tried Obsidian notes and immediately have pain points:

- can’t put photos in a table
- can’t copy photos to paste somewhere else

Was gonna send someone a gift card with Giftly, but their delivery times are all 7am and not customizable. Same for SMS. 🤦‍♂️

Wacky startup idea I had the other day: subscribe to build wealth.

Users sign up and pay a monthly subscription. We invest it until they want it back. Like a Netflix subscription but no videos; you just get your money back someday (plus interest).

When I built Fluentel, I spent a lot of time thinking about time zones. But still I catch myself pausing when I have to solve problems around time zones. Happy NewYear what ever your time zone right now.

I love shared economy concepts like Uber and AirBnB. But over the years they’ve trended toward people just wanting to make a buck. On Uber there’s lower quality vehicles and drivers. On AirBnB there’s teeny tiny guesthouse cabins for the price of a hotel room. Eg this 10x10 “cute” shack. 🙄

A year ago I started Bananny nonprofit as an answer to CozyKin’s absence. Built momentum and a working MVP; applied for 501c3 and was rejected by IRS (had to call to find out; got the letter months later); still not entirely sure why. That act killed the momentum.

I discovered the ASTM “Reading Room” where you can read standards for free. Otherwise it’s $99!

Reading ASTM F404-21 about highchair safety. Again last night at a restaurant the straps were broken and just tied together in a knot. So I got to test my prototype. 🦾

When it comes to software dev, I’m not a wizard programmer. But I put myself in the user’s shoes and make sure I understand the requirements end-to-end. Then just build relentlessly until it’s done.

Today I ordered some webbing material with buckles. Since my kid started solid foods, we’ve used whatever highchairs a restaurant has, and they mostly have what I call “standard restaurant highchair” probably because they’re the least expensive. The problem is the straps are about 60/40 good/bad

Good write up on building your own Linux workstation. I remember the joy of getting components from barebonespckits in the 90s and plugging it all together. www.paolomainardi.com/posts/linux-...

How the actual build look like. TL;DR Link to heading This is not a guide on how-to install and configure Linux, but a list of the components I used to build my personal Linux workstation, to avoid an...

I left Twitter after Alex Jones got readmitted. I mostly used Twitter as a dumping ground for random thoughts. I like the ability to pen something quickly and not necessarily long form. A way to vent or journal, but publicly so that I feel seen and heard (even if only by the void). My user persona.
