I have seen an 11/17 Nebraska tornado (2003). Odds were very long today for severe weather but these clouds southwest of lincoln are giving it their best go.

Lake Superior north of Whitefish Point is both shallow and narrow. Not a great place for one of the most heavily trafficked shipping areas in the world.

I had no idea how quickly the water got so deep north of Jamaica. The Cayman Trough is something else and no wonder that fault zone is so volatile.

I know the Caribbean has been quiet this year, but seeing that huge field of 30+ C water on October 21st is still quite something.
