I like the Mimic and I like FNAF :3

trying to move here from shitter
I don't think it was more controversy, just that its.. bizarre. not from a lore standpoint, just a narrative one.

like the 5 car crashes. or the avengers ending...

it's like a fun-bad book tbh. it's so poorly written that it's a super enjoyable experience

He helped Jeremy, who I believe is the protagonist of SOTM, destroy Glitchtrap once and for all.

Its story in SOTM would start and end at the hands of Jeremy.

And yet, despite accomplishing his one goal, the Mimic still won. His own daughter, Cassie, would become Mimic's next victim

The Mimic didn't learn about Afton from HW. It already knew about him. It had watched and learned about Afton for decades. Glitchtrap was the continuation of a plan since 1979 at the factory. One to escape containment and finally be free. And once he finally succeeded, he dropped the act

While making HW, FazEnt retrieved everything they could find in relation to company history. And under Fredbears, discovered Aftons bunker, including The Mimic

They would retrieve this, pull it's code, and ship it back to Fredbears, where it originated from

Speaking of which, this theory explains why The Mimic appears with rabbit ears in Tales. The Mimic wore Glitchtrap during SOTM before MXES was built to stop it

After this, I believe Aftons Bunker was built directly under the Factory, and Mimic was moved down there

Others areas include recreations of the Help Wanted minigames. I believe these rooms were originally part of the Factory, and were added to HW after Mimic was implemented

All basement elevators also appear heavily damaged, as if surviving some kind of fire. This same style of elevator also appears in RUINs ending, which we definitively know is part of the Factory

I believe it was a budget cutting measure to renovate the Factory rather than creating something new. I say renovate because we do see remnants of it in SB

Strange areas in Roxy Raceway that appear more archaic than the rest of SB. Part of which is even on fire

I believe this carnival is a modern-day Fallfest event and that Fazbear Entertainment has never stopped doing Fallfest, considering it even appears on fliers in FFPS

Ontop of this, it further supports my belief that the Factory is connected to Freddy's. Only question is why?
January 12, 2025 at 11:34 AM
Considering Afton's house is near Fredbears, corroborated by FFPS being near Mike's room, this would imply that the Factory is nearby as well

This is backed by the Tales epilogues, depicting a Carnival within earshot of The Pizzaplex's construction site

When the HW2 update released, Steel Wool gave a glimpse at Fallfest and the Factory. As we can see, the Factory is within view from Fallfest. Assuming Curse of Dreadbear takes place on the same property, the Afton Household is not far from Fallfest either.

There are 1970s TVs in the Pizzaplex's sewers. I've explored the entire Pizzaplex, and the ONLY place this same model appears in is Mike's living room playing Freddy and Friends. These are HUNDREDS of broken 70s TVs with seemingly no explanation! That is, unless... The Factory once resided here.
January 12, 2025 at 11:34 AM
Not only does the STAFF Silo contain these same brick assets, but crumbled brick walls also fill the Sewer areas as well. Something WAS here, and so I kept digging. And that's when I found something groundbreaking...
January 12, 2025 at 11:34 AM
You see, there are a LOT of bricks around the Pizzaplex, especially in its sewers. It's as if a much larger building had reisded here, but was scrapped for whatever reason

Some of Security Breach's more confusing areas reside under here, too, including the Silo and Trash Maze
January 12, 2025 at 11:34 AM
By starting with FFPS, I noticed an unusual amount of bricks surrounding the premises. At first, I assumed this was damage from the sinkhole, but things began taking a turn as I furthered my investigation...

But then the trailer for Secret of the Mimic released, including a demo at PAX West. None of which included ANY references to SL, being set long before Circus Baby's was even considered. So, what gives?

Well, I went back to exploring SB to see what I could find. And I discovered something huge.
January 12, 2025 at 11:34 AM
Continuing on the SL trend, Tales from the Pizzaplex concluded with "Dittophobia," a story centered around a kid trapped in the FNAF 4 experiment room, breaking free and exploring an abandoned Sister Location bunker
January 12, 2025 at 11:34 AM
Originally, I believed that SL would play a major part in this complex. If the FFPS restaurant is infact Fredbears, Afton's bunker should be directly below.

Furthermore, HW2 contained an assortment of SL-related minigames, including an elevator, which leads to the Glitchtrap ending
January 12, 2025 at 11:34 AM
Well, let's first take a look at where Cassie is now. I've outlined the key climactic areas we explore in RUIN. As we can see, Burntrap, The Scooper, and the Elevator are all on the same layer, meaning they're all part of the same facility.

A whole complex is directly under the Pizzaplex
January 12, 2025 at 11:34 AM
The key selling point in Secret of the Mimic is, "To see the future, you need understand the past"

Assuming the Elevator Ending is canon, Cassie was dropped further down into the Pizzaplex's basement. Whatever is down there will be explained in SOTM. So, what's down there?
January 12, 2025 at 11:34 AM
that's why I was hesitant to get it, lol. I'd probably just be getting them for collection purposes. I've got all the wolfenstein games now, so when I finish Classic Doom, I'm planning on moving towards those, then continue from there!
