I was bigly disappointed in Corbyn as Labour leader. This sort of fannying around lost him 2 GEs, & he seems to have learned nothing.

It makes little difference really. If an employer wants rid they'll find a way, & most employers take staff on under a 6 month probation period anyway. Feels like a workable compromise.

I don't think he actually listens to replies, just moved on to next accusation.
So typical of modern media,& in particular Chris Mason, that they'd rather ask why it wasn't done sooner than simply report it has been.

It's to replace the money not gained in fuel revenue etc from EVs. Now that buying electric is booming it's time to knock off the cheaper incentive.
