Those numbers sort of add up really fast, when you frequently go cross chain, and this is ultimately hidden fees and very detrimental to the user

I think what this sort of doesnt address we are allowing wallets to defacto dictate a lot of the experience and so giving them power to become value extractors. When you do a swap on a wallet today you pay about 1-2.5% to the wallet provider, i dont think see how that doesnt extend to cross chain ux
