Two days ago the Pakistani president was gushing over Trump. Well the cut in USAID stopped the flood modeling and forecasting project that was supposed to help that country prepare for flooding that it routinely experiences.

HAM radios were invaluable. I remember getting a message via HAM to move to Memphis WFO from Jackson once the comms failed. We also received messages about ops for days after via HAM.

These "firings because of conduct" have long been occurring. I remember a MIC going against a Senator on his views about opening a new office and that Senator had a team go and investigate his computer to find firable info.

I know I've never seen where the executive branch just does its own thing and goes against the constitution and directives of Congress. It's close if not an impeachable offense but nothing will probably be done.

Quitting development of vol 15 will hurt the US in the long run. Vol 14 numbers seem a little underdone and 15 should be more accurate. This is used for development planning, zoning and flood mapping. Improper planning in risk areas will definitely cost the US.
