I have written, with Lea Castro, on the tactics of corporate actors — fear, funds, fronts among them. Here is a great summary of fear and intimidation used as a tactic by industry.
This is the 1st article in what is my most difficult project: started during the covid19 pandemic, then I raised a baby (and his older brother), changed cities twice, and jobs, etc.

Among the many innovative features listed in this article, I find the use of a custom domain both easy and useful. By connecting an account to a personal domain and website, it acts as a means of verification that is more meaningful than any check mark, paid or unpaid!
