I finished up my winter Tamiya Kubel. As mentioned to Tom I've been slapping weathering products on this and trying out a few things. The chipping worked, but uneccessary. The acrylic mud is good and using oil paints has been a fun experience.

Good evening #histscalemodels My Kubel has been given a bit of muck around its base. Vallejos thick mud/grass has been used and then sprayed with Tamiya paints to unify it all. A bit more work to do but it is heading in the right direction.👍👍

Completed 240Z with a Ferrari Testarossa engine kitbashed in! Some minor fabrication with the air intake on the engine and added an external oil cooler. Also used carbon fibre decals for the first time! #histscalemodels #scalemodels #car #carmodels #painting

This is my finished offering of the AMT 1968 Shelby GT-500. It isn't the best fitting car I have ever done but it was worth the challenge. Paint was Ford electric blue with Everest white racing stripes from SMS. I added seatbelts made a gear shift and use putty to fill a damaged chassis.

Just completed this, the venerable 1/25 scale AMT(Matchbox) 1950 Ford Convertible, with additions from the spares box (see alt-text). I can't resist this era of american cars, and kits, even if it does mean fixing things like replacing the straight-through front axle! #scalemodels #histscalemodels

The Tamiya Ferrari Mythos is ALMOST there, but it's not going to get finished before next week. As long as I can get it over the line without mishap though (fingers crossed), my collection will have a new champ. Seldom do my models go so well.

Js I am still making models even though I'm not posting much atm. Currently trying to figure out how to kit bash a Ferrari Testarossa engine into this (it didn't come with an engine and I've chopped open the bonnet etc).
