read chapter 8 and 9 yesterday, found lots of good quotes. i know cathy's 15, but good god, she's a bit insufferable. claiming to say she loves a man, but then get married to another (i know her grand plan is to get with heathcliff), but to have H listen to all of that????

found out that the narrator wasn't a girl. idk why i was expecting him to be, probably because i just came from reading jane eyre. but also, now that i've found out, my tolerance for his whining has decreased to zero.

viewership by saying they really want to drop the story and are really disappointed by the author.

maybe i just play the devil's advocate too much, but i want to give them the benefit of the doubt. their livelihood depends on their work, i don't think they would take random hiatuses for no reason.

it's not the end of the world if an update doesn't happen. i know people are looking forward to it, but that mean you can just berate the author. also, some commenters are like yo-yos. mocking and berating, dangling their

some comments will say, "i wish you would've told us there was no update earlier instead of waiting on the day of", "do a longer hiatus instead of cutting off the story so frequently", "dropping from the hiatuses", or even writing about panel count/prices .

this is all fine, imo.

seeing people write mocking comments about how they wasted their money by reading certain stories is honestly annoying.

usually, the main reason why authors take a hiatus is for health-related reasons.
