Wouldn't normally post this since it was mainly meant to practice shine, shading, and texture, but it feels like some good progress at least. 4.5 hours and it was a good learning experience!

It's been one year since I started drawing and I wanted to show my progress! This was an 8 hour piece and I tried to put most of what I've learned this year into it. It's great to see how far things have come and I'm hoping for more in the future!

4.5 hours to complete this one, my first real drawing in a while (also probably my most sensitive) and I'm pretty happy with it. This was the result of me studying and trying out new skin tone, shading and anatomy.

Took 8 hours over a couple weeks to complete, and I'm pretty happy with it. I tried new things with colors and objects here and it was very difficult, but I'm glad I tried my hand at it! Alice is cute and I'm glad I drew her.

I wanted to draw Yakumo Ran for a long time but failed many times to portray her to my satisfaction. The result of some trial and error is my favorite drawing yet, and I hope you enjoy it!

Drawn for a friend - Took 4.5 hours to make my first drawing of Marisa since I was brand new to art! This might be another of my favorite drawings, and I'm very glad I had the chance to draw such an excellent character!

EX Rumia in the backrooms, a random idea that came to me - Took 7 hours and a lot of experimentation with lighting. It was challenging but I feel very satisfied with this as a product of 8 months of learning!

This was my longest piece by far, taking 8 hours over three weeks. I imagine Kutaka being very warm and fluffy and I tried very hard (to some success) to portray it. Definitely was challenging.

Another product of a group art canvas! Definitely had struggles with this throughout the entire process, but happy enough with the result.

7 hours, and done in just two days! I really put a lot of new things into this- the hairstyle, perspective, the ears and tail, and very basic painting. Despite some troubles, this is probably my favorite drawing I've ever made!

Drew this as part of a group art canvas with friends. Interestingly, the inspiration for this piece came from a dream I had. I felt really rusty at the start and was worried it wouldn't capture the vision I had. Now I'm very proud of it!

Smol Kogasa! Took 6.5 hours of drawing, 120 layers, and one very busy month to draw. Not my best work, but Kogasa is great so I felt I had to complete it. Messed around with some styles along the way. Glad to be back behind the tablet!

This is almost 5 months after I drew her as my first art piece. This one took me a long, long 6.5 hours and I'm very happy with it in the end! Happy Lily makes me happy too. Enjoy spring!

3 hour edit to my previous Kogasa piece, trying new things with the line art, shading, and general anatomy. I definitely like it and I hope to draw more of her soon!

5.5 hour drawing, tried a new construction method (again) and did a lot of improvised sketching and physics. Haven't drawn my favorite character in a while, so while this was simple enough and has some issues, it was fun!

My art piece for Valentine's Day! Based on one adorable part from a Touhou fangame I enjoy, Yoiyami Dancer by rokugou (on Twitter). It took me six hours and I do notice issues with this, but I feel happy with it as a sketch!

This took me a very, very long 8 hours and 105 layers (which is fewer than normal), there are issues but I felt happy enough with it! My first time really painting and trying lineart as well. Honestly want to paint some more (or draw even more Shinki)

Tried a new construction method and this took 5 hours- pretty happy with it! I normally wouldn't draw Parsee, but some people really like her so I decided to try this out.
I think I see the vision now

This was one of my longest-running pieces: it took 7 hours, over 2 weeks. This also ended up my largest file and was lagging my laptop. I enjoyed every bit of the process though! Plus I gained an appreciation for Jo'on

4.5 hours, tried a lot with colors and a bit of painting here. Perspective was a pain but I think this went okay!
I also finally learned how to use the fill tool properly, cut hours off the process
Also Shinki is great

Made this sketch over 4 hours after a random burst of inspiration. I got a bit confused and frustrated with the software so I wrapped this up a bit haphazardly.

Did some reference sketching recently and I wanted to do an entirely improvised piece today! Satisfied with this overall
