My PM Streeting prediction is there may be a leveling out or slight bump for them in the polls before it deteriorates again. He's a better communicator than Starmer (low bar) but there really isn't anything there

How is he so bad and cringe
NEW: Wes Streeting says it’s “categorically untrue” that he’s plotting a coup against Keir Starmer.

“Whoever has been briefing this has been watching too much celebrity traitors.

“The briefing about me is the most unjustified attack against the faithful since Joe Marler was banished in the final.”

With Maurice Glasman and Dominic Lawson calling for the return of the stocks, we find most Britons opposed - although Reform voters are divided

All Britons: 21% support / 72% oppose

Lib Dem: 12% / 85%
Labour: 12% / 83%
Green: 13% / 82%

Reform: 43% / 48%

I really fear people will flock back to labour. If they somehow get a majority in 2029 they'll be so emboldened to double down on this grim shit
November 6, 2025 at 1:39 PM
Mesmorising how labour MPs see themselves, Streeting posted the same. Labour backed Israel until the very end, attempted to take benefits away from the poorest disabled people this year, and actively campaigned against trans folk

Absolutely insane.

Labour would have purged and smeared someone like Zohran Mamdani.

Wes Streeting's politics align far more closely with Andrew Cuomo.

The lessons from Mamdani are about how to defeat both the right - and the bankrupt "centre".

Quoting Eugene Debs? Ok I'll watch the speech
In his victory speech, Mamdani quoted Eugene Debs, the US socialist pioneer, because he firmly places himself in that historic tradition of the left.

He addressed Jewish people, Muslims, trans people - because the left is the antidote to a right embracing racism and hate.

Also notable that the Tories are on 7% with people under-50. In fifth place. And only 4 points above the SNP in sixth (who obviously only stand in Scotland).
Notable in today's YouGov that the centre/left bloc - Lab/Green/LD/SNP are on 54%. With Reform/Tories on 43%. That's the biggest differential in a long time.

I think useful to track blocs given instability between parties at the moment.
