I now have a scanner again, so here, have an actual scan of the front cover of the Kiki Kaikai arcade manual rather than the photo I used in the blog post (nicole.express/2025/pocky-b...)
Kiki KaiKai game manual front cover. Today's "Random Game Saturday" is the famous Temple of Apshai on the Atari 400/800 (requires a fully upgraded 400, though!)

We have it my peeps. I found that lost one capacitor that fell on the ground. Buttoned up the unit and doing some stress testing with the MS-2932. Had this dam thing for like 4 years now but never got to fire it up. So exited to finally play it. Always loved the Muscle/Kinnikuman franchise.

PSA for those with a RetroTink 4K: Make sure you have 4:4:4 Pass Through enabled on your TV. I didn't realize that masks were totally jacked up by not having it on, they're 100x better now!

Repaired a UPL Black Heart #arcade #shmup board this evening. The NMK 902 custom chip used for rendering the FIX layer for the title screen and HUD failed. Swapped in a replacement from a Thunder Dragon donor and now it works great.
