Discrimination based on someone's age is so ingrained in society that most of us don't notice it. Yet it affects us all and fighting it not only helps make a better society, it also helps us live longer, healthier lives.
This is appalling, though, sadly, not at all surprising.
Black women in America are more than twice as likely as white women to have a stillbirth. Getting physicians to take their concerns seriously is one reason for this disparity, they say: “If you’re a Black woman, you get dismissed.”

It was bittersweet watching the #LowerDecks finale. There are so many more stories to tell. I’m still hoping we can #SaveLowerDecks. Surely some streaming service could pick it up.
