I'm enjoying The Witcher s4, although I miss Cavill in the role. The costume change in this series makes Hemsworth look like a biker. Nothing wrong with looking like a biker, but it's not the witcher. However, very happy to see this legend join the cast. Laurence Fishburne: what a career 👍

Chieftain in various states of primer and base coat (TS-2 rattle can). It is now back to almost exactly the same shade of dark green as the original plastic - well played Tamiya 😄👍 I totally forgot about the side skirts, so they are a step behind. Even the gun looks ok with a lick of paint.

I finished up my winter Tamiya Kubel. As mentioned to Tom I've been slapping weathering products on this and trying out a few things. The chipping worked, but uneccessary. The acrylic mud is good and using oil paints has been a fun experience.

The lower hull of a plastic scale model tank is in a spray booth, held inverted on a Tamiya spraying stand. It has been sprayed with Tamiya Surface Primer (grey) - the spray can is also in the shot, showing the familiar Tamiya red and blue stars. Took a walk up this fella today: Khao Chalak, two kilometers up, two kilometers down, not quite Currahee, but still a good workout 👍 Looking down on the town of Sri Racha and the Gulf of Thailand.

Saturday usually means a trip to my third favourite place:

Buying 1:35 scale tow ropes, thanks for the tip Stef! 👍 This particular stuff is quite stiff. I'll give it a go and then look online when it goes wrong.

What's your go-to replacement stuff for 1:35 tow ropes? Cheers 👍 I just broke one of mine trying to put some kinks in it. I have some textured thread, but it is too thin. Will look for some braided wire at the hardware shop at the weekend.

Morning, hobby team. I am almost done with sanding seams. Looking at schemes, Tamiya seem to have a rule that all British tanks are dark green, but I think the green/black camo scheme is standard for BOAR Chieftains, right?

A concrete pier stretches out into the sea towards the setting sun. Lamp posts line each side of the pier. There are quite a few people on the pier, each with a fishing rod, in calm contemplation of the calm water. Clouds dot the blue sky, with one big one in the centre of the shot, blocking out the sun. An island far out to sea pokes just above the horizon. A sizeable light blue fishing vessel sits moored to the end of the pier in the calm sea at sunset. The vessel is crammed full of kit, including two bright orange storage boxes, which stand out just in front of the pilot's cabin.
