I'm a Martial Artist 🐉 and Game Designer.🎮

Currently living in Valencia.

Student at ESAT. Working on Elysian Siege.

Last year, I began studying game design, and now I’m crafting a 2.5D platformer videogame with my 20 battle-sworn companions. Follow to see how this epic journey unfolds!

I’ll be posting progress, design thoughts, and probably some bugs that make me question my life choices.

🔁 Something that I was recently taught and really helped me:
Prototype early — even if it’s ugly.

The sooner it moves, the sooner it teaches you.

If you are interested on how to prototype properly take a look at this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=9O9Q...

If you already red the last book I mentioned then check this one out!

"Game Feel" by Steve Swink 🎮🕹️

It explores why controls feel good — and how to design that intentionally.

I just started but it's been pretty eye-opening so far. Might be worth a look!

Been reading "The Art of Game Design" by Jesse Schell 🎮📘

It’s thoughtful, practical, and full of questions that really shift your perspective about game design.

Might be a good one if you’re into making games!

Ever barely clip a platform and still land while playing a platformer game? That’s corner correction 🪄 — a tiny nudge that pulls you up instead of letting you fall 👣

Subtle, but it makes platformers avoid frustration🎮✨

🕹️ Ever heard of Coyote Time in game dev?

It’s a tiny delay (0.1–0.2s) after leaving a platform where jumps still register — named after cartoon coyotes who hang in mid-air before falling. 🐾

💡 Adds fairness and smoother controls

Use it. Players will thank you.

🛠️ Thinking of level design as a conversation has helped me a lot.
Levels ask questions — players answer by playing.

Great breakdown about it here:

Hope it helps someone!

For our survival horror game, we're implementing a Fresnel material to highlight pickups🕯️

Since items in this genre usually don’t stand out much, exploration is key

We’ve added a soft blinking effect (still being fine-tuned), to help players identify pickups

Some of these talks blew my mind! Great for understanding how pros think about space, movement, and player psychology.

There is still a lot to learn. Would love to hear what helped you learn level design—or feel free to drop your own tips or WIP screenshots! ✨

Odyssey Narrative Game –Dev Update!

I was about to release it… but decided to take it one step further.

To deepen player engagement, Odi’s perception will now shift based on your choices.

This means the story changes depending on how he sees things — not just what happens.

Just wrapped up a City Builder project to dive into the genre using Unreal Engine!

It was a great exercise in learning the core systems behind simulation and resource management.

If you have any advice or feedback, I'd love to hear it!

Games talk to players.

Through sound, lights, animations, movement, even silence — everything is feedback.

Good feedback means the player always knows:
✅ What just happened
✅ What it meant
✅ What they can do next

That’s what we’re working on now. Making the world respond.

🚧 Level design update! The world is taking shape, but there’s still plenty of work ahead to polish and refine every corner. Loving how the architecture and atmosphere are coming together in this build — can’t wait to share more progress soon! 🎮✨

Sharing it in case it helps others too.

Here’s another great resource I came across—a super concise short on how to animate attacks:

Here's my first mini game in Construct3: Hamster's Bakery! 🍰

A prototype I made last year for a cute' em up mixing silly, sweet elements. Glaze cakes, score points, buy upgrades.

Thinking of polishing the art and adding new mechanics. Should I?
