Hi! I'm a colored pencil artist specialized in animal portraits. I usually draw wildlife but once in a while I do pet portraits too. These are the dogs I've drawn so far. The one on my profile was my beautiful Greta, a Spanish Water Dog ❤️

In progress: "Old Garden Shed (small acts of magic)" (working title), oil on canvas, 24x36" (gift). Starting to make moves that define the end point more. Filling in the bouquet on the lower left, dense with blooms & foliage. It's getting closer to the feel I was looking for.

Just a little reminder to enjoy the #art process. Something that colored pencils have taught me is the importance of taking the time that things need to be properly done, enjoying the slowness instead of feeling frustrated by it.

This is where all started... my first realistic animal portrait! This is an Indian rhino made in graphite and pastel pencils. I made it in 2020 during the lockdown and I haven't stopped drawing animals since then!
