Please share with all organizers to advise folks to bring ear protection (it looks like foam ear plugs AND ear defenders could be a decent combo) just in case!!

we really need to stop saying “arrested” by ICE. the word you’re looking for is “kidnapped”.

people who are being disappeared

- a grad student who wrote an op-ed critical of campus administration cracking down on student protestors

- an undocumented farmworker who was trying to start a union

etc etc, like companies and colleges can just call up ice now and have "troublemakers" taken away

I learned this week that you can put our troops' lives in danger, compromise our national security, and violate the Espionage Act. And the government will do nothing.

But if you write an editorial for your school newspaper that Trump doesn't like, you will be abducted on the street and disappeared.

Much of the media's attention is focused on what harm Pete Hegseth's reckless irresponsibility might do to him, when it should be focused on what harm it could have done to our troops--and *will* do to our relationships with allies, especially in Europe.

If it’s true that Trump wasn’t briefed on four missing — presumed dead — soldiers in a Lithuania, someone needs to be fired.

There’s not much higher on the priority list than MIA soldiers. Whoever dropped the ball there is failing POTUS in an inexcusable way.

If you think what happened to Rumeysa Ozturk can't happen to you because you're a citizen and she's not, you are sorely mistaken. Ozturk was snatched off the street not for being a national security threat but for having a wrong opinion. If we don't put a stop to this, it's coming for all of us.

I saw the work by Olga Lautman and he findings were disturbing: Steven Witkoff was in Russia when he was added to the signal chat. Russia has infiltrated Signal and used against Ukrainians. Very possible they have the classified signal info:

The lives of American troops - and every American life - depends on the people in charge of our government taking their responsibilities seriously. But again and again, including with the incompetence that came to light today, they are demonstrating the opposite.

Buttigieg: What if this had, in fact, gone to somebody else? I mean, somebody who could plausibly be in some of these people's cell phones. I don't know, the Chinese ambassador or Russian negotiator.

And the other question on my mind is how many other times has something like this happened?

Swalwell: Hegseth is still the Secretary of Defense? This moron texts out our war plans, putting our soldiers at risk, and he’s not gone?

Every one on that chat—they just fire off texts not knowing who is on the chat? They all should be fired if they don’t resign.

Every single Democratic lawmaker should be calling for Hegseth's immediate resignation right now. Not just some. Not just a few dozen. Every single one, starting at the top with Mr. Schumer and Mr. Jeffries. And the fact that it hasn't happened yet is nearly as shocking as Hegseth's conduct.
