Fascinating way of thinking about transit as workforce/economic expansion. I wish every US city had a study like this. www.centreforcities.org/blog/sizing-...
What to see how I turned thousands of live buses into charts like this? And what it all means for mayors wanting to integrate their public transport systems?

Come to see me talk about all this and more to our event at 1pm: www.centreforcities.org/event/report...

Long live UniWatch. Unfortunately, as someone who started a couple news sites myself, this story seems too familiar. It doesn't matter how great your site is. All news work is ephemeral and it all comes down to the benjamins. archive.ph/m1v25

I’ve been spending a lot of time meeting with people in mid-sized Midwest cities like Milwaukee, Columbus, Kansas City, and Cleveland. Here’s my insight: These places are lively, busy, and culturally rich. Americans lose out by dismissing them. There’s lots of fun and great ideas in these places!

Remember folks. The original bluesky ethos by us bluesky elders (apparently I count?) is block and move on.

Don't quote dunk, don't pick fights.
Block, and move on.

This is what made this site unpalatable to the right early on, and we can continue to make it unpalatable to them.
