Same here, this week was worse than last week. The lady working there said it is going to be worse next week. Food bank opens at 1, line starts at 12... Today I arrived at 1230 and there were over 100 people.
He probably saw the word recently and that's why he keeps using it. I'm sure by next week he'll have learned a new one, like spatula, and that's all we'll hear for another week.
About five years ago we went through the same thing only then it was bedbugs. We had to get the county involved and even then they were given months to fix it. I'm disabled and broke and can't afford to replace everything I've had to throw away. But hey, rents going up again this month $300.
My apartment complex has had a roach infestation for months. It's hard to store food because they get into everything. I can't/won't use my oven because roaches are in it, same with my fridge. The landlord has been fighting the tenants over treatment. Now they're spraying, but only the kitchens.
They're for migrants, the elderly, the disabled, the mentally ill, democrats, and anyone who has ever said anything about trump that hurt his feelings, for anyone who has tried holding him accountable, the poor, LGBTQ, and anyone else who isn't able to enrich trump. Basically for everyone.
The minority party leader, who wants to protect our healthcare is responsible? Sure, not the GOP who voted for the cuts to provide a tax cut for billionaires. Go back to twitter to troll folks.
Unfortunately about half of Americans are willingly believing that this is all the Democrats fault. They won't believe reality until it personally effects them... and even then they'll likely blame the Dems and keep voting against their interests.

I don't know what bothered me more, the article blaming democrats or all the comments also blaming them. They all support Trump/GOP and what they're doing but don't want to acknowledge the effects it has. Blaming the minority party and "illegals" while the rich let the die off.

Growing up, my father talked endless crap about people who needed gov assistance. "They're all crooks, they need to suffer" ect.
When he was elderly and needed help he had no problem applying for everything he could. He only cared when it affected him, likely the same as many people in this country
I held a job for 35 years before I became disabled and unable to work. According to many people the moment I stopped working (i.e. making money for the rich) I should have just died.
The top shelf of my closet is known as the shelf of hobbies forgotten. My last hobby was going to be learning to crochet. Fortunately this time I only bought one pack of needles and one ball of yarn. Before that I'd waste hundreds on things I'd never look at after buying.
Honestly, I'd prefer it if social media companies would all have a like AND dislike button. The amount of horrible posts I see with tons of likes just seems to make the posters think everyone agrees with their shitty views.
I used to have a neighbor who's response to any of my issues at work with, "you should sue them." When I would say no his immediate follow up was, "you should kill them." He and Trump would probably be the best of pals. Glad he moved far away

I'm white, on SNAP, vote Democrat, and never voted for Trump... Well to be honest I once voted for him in a "worlds biggest asshole" survey online somewhere.
I know plenty of people in my situation i.e. white, democrats on SNAP. So maybe don't lump everyone into the same category.
