Apparently I haven't posted about this but I have spent hours online, been thwarted in person at one museum, and waited all-in-all more than a month for a picture of the legendary fountain from my home town. Nothing in the newspaper or state photo archives. Only one photo at the local museum ⬇️

Aha! The one in 2021 was by Simone St. James! She and Cherie Priest are my favorite writers of ghost stories. Seems like a good way to ease back in: with new characters and plot but from a trusted storyteller.
