I don’t get why Wilson was dealt here. I like getting a former top-100 outfielder who’s had a rough go in his brief time in the majors for a meh pitcher, but adding a serviceable reliever for a 26-year old infielder who’s been pretty bad in AAA doesn’t strike me as a prudent move. Not even a lefty!
I like the move. White Sox getting a player who has pretty much raked in AAA and been terrible in brief cups of coffee at the major league level. Not bad for a replacement level pitcher acquired off a waiver claim.

I could see the White Sox making a play for Morel. Hasn’t been good but there’s still some upside there and their options are extremely limited.
